Graffiti posters Print
Give your students the opportunity to write graffiti in English. Write your starting point on large pieces of blank paper which you hang round the room. Students move around and make original contributions. Since this is graffiti, they can read what others have written, add comments and correct mistakes. The teacher can participate too. Here are some examples which have worked successfully with my class, but teachers can think of others.

Famous person

Students write comparisons about a famous person.

JULIO IGLESIAS

Julio Iglesias sings better than Enrique Iglesias.

Conditionals

Students complete an unfinished conditional sentences.

IF I WON A MILLION DOLLARS ...

Themes

Students write sentences related to a topic. Afterwards, they sit next to the topic that most interests them and use the sentences as the starting point for discussion.

I like travelling abroad, so I can meet new people.
