In Italy everyone’s favourite pastime is football (known as ‘soccer ’ in America). With my teen class if one of my students becomes a bit boisterous, I admonish him or her with a yellow card.
If they continue, they get a red card. I don’t expel my students but I do give them sets of irregular verbs to copy as extra homework!
