ELTons facebook bannerOur ETpedia series of teaching resources has been shortlisted for Innovation in teacher resources at the 15th British Council ELTons Awards for Innovation in English Language Teaching 2017. The focus of the awards is excellence in innovation and functional application in order to support English language learners and teachers achieve their teaching and learning goals.

There are five books in the ETpedia series, each using the same innovative format. Each topic has 10 ideas or tips, which can each be used or adapted for whatever you need. The original ETpedia has 1000 tips across 100 topics, whilst each other book has 50 topics focusing on a specific area of teaching practice. ETpedia Business English and ETpedia Young Learners are for teachers of specific groups of students. All teachers have to create their own materials so ETpedia Materials Writing is a complete reference guide to support teachers in thus, whilst ETpedia Technology is full of activities and advice for using technology to support your students’ learning. ETpedia is also a blog, collecting ideas from teachers around the world to share with you on the topics they are the expert in. Take a look at the ETpedia website here.

The winners of the 15th British Council ELTons Awards for Innovation in English Language Teaching will be announced on Wednesday 14 June 2017 at an award ceremony in central London, where Countdown’s lexicographer and etymologist Susie Dent will be hosting.
